Time Value Analysis – A Tool For Our Times is a commentary on the increasing sense of time famine in contemporary life.  In the work, a video created using PowerPoint, the standard tool for slick business presentations and awash with sophisticated charts and catchy buzzwords, is positioned as a serious lecture on how one can improve their time allocation and hence, their life.  The video is installed in a make shift conference centre set amidst the continuous community and office employee traffic of a county council concourse lobby.  At once sincere and absurd, the work attempts to reflect our hunger for canned solutions that ultimately defeat their purpose, and by their very nature, suffocate some of the simpler joys of life.
